Ang Pag-inom ug Init nga Tubig

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks . The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating. For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware.. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.
A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

Tikay's "Prayers of the Faithful"

· For our national and local gov’t. officials, we pray that they continue to seek discernment and spiritual guidance as they go about their duties and responsibilities …and to cease from enriching their own pockets and overfeeding their already gluttonous pride and ego, let us pray to the Lord…

· For our community leaders, we pray that they continue to find ways to learn how to better serve, unselfishly, the less privileged and the insecure, without shamelessly putting forward their own self-interests first…let us pray to the Lord…

· For our church elders, we pray that they finally learn to embrace media as their abled partners in preserving religious tenets and dogmas without jeopardizing, nor compromising, what is true, what is fair and what is just, at all times…let us pray to the Lord...

· For our company officers, we pray that they continue to be steadfast in their pursuit for the greater good of the business, without neglecting nor ignoring that the real heart and blood of this institution lie not in monetary gain nor in the ratings game, but in happy and grateful smiles of colleagues, subordinates and co-workers…let us pray to the Lord…

· For our competitors, we pray that they continue to push us to greater heights by being graceful in defeat and humble in failure… for while winning, and leading, makes us truly proud, we pray that we never forget to remember that it is, and always will be, about faithfully serving the Filipino people--- no matter what, no matter how, and no matter when… let us pray to the Lord…

· For all the members of the ABS-CBN family, we pray that we continue to nurture in our midst the harsh reality that so much is expected of us, as role models in the industry, and that so much is at stake when we fumble and we fall… yet, while we always have the choice to refuse this challenge by leaving, we pray that every single day we live as a Kapamilya, we shall continue to pursue our responsibilities with sheer honesty, integrity and professionalism…for, after all, work is, and always will be, a blessing…let us pray to the Lord..

· For our families and loved ones…we pray that they continue to support us and grant us their unconditional understanding… for the challenges and pressures of our work can only be made lighter and more manageable when, after a day’s stint, we look forward to rushing back to a warm and comforting home…let us pray to the Lord…

· And for all our personal intentions and wishes for this day…. Let us pray to the Lord…

Computerized Pillow Reduces Snoring

By Bill Christensen
posted: 05 October 2007 05:17 pm ET

A computerized pillow reduces snoring according to German scientist Daryoush Bazargani.

"The pillow is attached to a computer, which is the size of a book, rests on a bedside table, and analyzes snoring noises," said Bazargani.

"The computer then reduces or enlarges air compartments within the pillow to facilitate nasal airflow to minimize snoring as the user shifts during sleep," he said.
Snoring is a problem that most people are familiar with; the National Sleep Foundation estimates that as many as one in three Americans snores at least occasionally.

Dr. Bazargani is a snorer himself; several manufacturers are interested in bringing this prototype (see picture) to the marketplace. His pillow encourages you to change your sleep position so your throat is not constricted (one of the reasons why we snore).

The computerized pillow is yet another in a long series of devices intended to help you with your sleeping. Consider one of these futuristic options:
The spherical shape of the Pod's upper body provides you with a semi-private acoustical and visual environment.
The weary are invited to a Vitality Diagnostic Corner, where a sleep counselor leads the visitor through a software program designed to create a sleep profile.
Do you have trouble getting a good night's sleep? University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers are working on a gadget that can help you.

Emotions Run Amok in Sleep-Deprived Brains

Charles Q. ChoiSpecial to LiveScienceLiveScience.comMon Oct 22, 12:20 PM ET

Without sleep, the emotional centers of our brains dramatically overreact to bad experiences, research now reveals.

"When we're sleep deprived, it's really as if the brain is reverting to more primitive behavior, regressing in terms of the control humans normally have over their emotions," researcher Matthew Walker, a neuroscientist at the University of California, Berkeley, told LiveScience.

Anyone who has ever gone without a good night's sleep is aware that doing so can make a person emotionally irrational. While past studies have revealed that sleep loss can impair the immune system and brain processes such as learning and memory, there has been surprisingly little research into why sleep deprivation affects emotions, Walker said.

Walker and his colleagues had 26 healthy volunteers either get normal sleep or get sleep deprived, making them stay awake for roughly 35 hours. On the following day, the researchers scanned brain activity in volunteers using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) while they viewed 100 images. These started off as emotionally neutral, such as photos of spoons or baskets, but they became increasingly negative in tone over time—for instance, pictures of attacking sharks or vipers.

"While we predicted that the emotional centers of the brain would overreact after sleep deprivation, we didn't predict they'd overreact as much as they did," Walker said. "They became more than 60 percent more reactive to negative emotional stimuli. That's a whopping increase—the emotional parts of the brain just seem to run amok."

The researchers pinpointed this hyperactive response to a shutdown of the prefrontal lobe, a brain region that normally keeps emotions under control. This structure is relatively new in human evolution, "and so it may not yet have adapted ways to cope with certain biological extremes," Walker speculated. "Human beings are one of the few species that really deprive themselves of sleep. It's a real oddity in nature."

In modern life, people often deprive themselves of sleep "almost on a daily basis," Walker said. "Alarm bells should be ringing about that behavior—no pun intended."

Future research can focus on which components of sleep help restore emotional stability—"whether it's dreaming REM sleep or slow-wave, non-dreaming forms of sleep," Walker said.
Many psychiatric disorders, "particularly ones involving emotions, seem to be linked with abnormal sleep," he added. "Traditionally people mostly thought the psychiatric disorders were contributing to the sleep abnormalities, but of course it could be the other way around. If we can find out which parts of sleep are most key to emotional stability, we already have a good range of drugs that can push and pull at these kinds of sleep and maybe help treat certain kinds of psychiatric conditions."

The findings are detailed in the Oct. 23 issue of the journal Current Biology.

Alang Natu'ng Mga Tig-Email

Email etiquette:
When replying to email, please help yourself and be thoughtful of your readers.

1. Delete the Parts of the Original that are not specific to your reply;

2. Insert Your Reply into the Abridged original message (especially if you are responding to specific points) or write your reply ahead of the original;

3. Change The Subject Line if you are responding to something other than the message’s main point.

Why bother doing this? Because replies that include more original text than necessary are lesslikely to be read. If you want your reply to be read, be kind to your readers.

Most email systems are set up so that the original message is copied into the reply with each line preceded by a decrescendo mark. That makes the original easy to spot but can create an extremely long message, especially if several layers are included.

Many group members receive the “digest”, (a collection of many messages sent at one time), rather than each email individually – and weeding out the new material from the old can be tiring. So, your reply might get lost in the shuffle if you include the entire original message.

How to do these things?

To Delete the Parts that are not specific to your reply:Highlight them (drag your mouse over them) and Delete them. If it’s a long section or you have trouble highlighting by dragging, click on the beginning of the section you want to delete and then clickon the end of the section, while holding the Shift key. That will select everything in between, and then you can Delete it.

To Insert your Text Between lines of the original:Click where you want to insert your reply, and hit the Enter key to add a new line.Adding a blank line on either side of your reply will make it stand out even more.

To Change the Subject Line: Click at the beginning of the Subject field and type the new Subject title.

Put parentheses around the original Subject and replace Re: with Was:, so readers have some idea of the email that sparked your reply, e.g., (Was: Email Etiquette).

Happy Posting!

Nganung Daling Muhilak Kitang mga Babaye...

Why Women Cry? Watch her eyes!!!!
A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him."I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?""All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry..

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said"When I made the woman she had to be special.I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

Please send this to ten beautiful women you know today. If you do, something good will happen - You will boost another woman's self-esteem.

Pass it on to men too - perhaps they will then understand "why women cry".

Sumpay sa "Evan Almighty"

"This is really beautiful. Noah's Ark Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.

ONE: Don't miss the boat.

TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.

THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.

FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.

FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.

SIX: Build your future on high ground.

SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.

EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.

TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting."

KBP Month 2007

Nindot Hinuklugan, Nindot Panalaminan... :)

" One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle.

It looked like he was carrying all of his books.

I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd." I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knock ing all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his e yes.

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks " They really should get lives. " He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna rea lly build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday! " He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends..

When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship.

Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jeal ous!

Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. " Thanks," he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met.

He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all a bout his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.

Not until that moment did I realize it's depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions.

With one small gesture you can change a person's life. F or better or for worse. God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

' Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.'

There is no beginning or end...

Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

Today is a gift."

Kagaw Gikan sa Mga Ilaga sa "Stockroom'!

IMPORTANT Health Alert

A stock clerk was sent to clean up a storeroom in Maui , Hawaii.

When he got back, he was complaining that the storeroom was really filthy and that he had noticed dried mouse/rat droppings in some> areas. A couple of days later, he started to feel like he was coming down with a stomach flu, complained of sore joints and headaches, and began to vomit.

He went to bed and never really got up again. Within two days he was severely ill and weak.
His blood sugar count was down to 66, and his face and eyeballs were yellow. He was rushed to the emergency at Pali-Momi, where he was diagnosed to be suffering from massive organ failure.

He died shortly before midnight.

No one would have made the connection between his job and his death, had it not been for a doctor who specifically asked if he had been in a warehouse or exposed to dried rat/mouse droppings at any time.

They said there is a virus (much like the Hanta virus) that lives in dried rat and mouse droppings. Once dried, these droppings are like dust and can easily be breathed in or ingested if a person does not wear protective gear or fails towash face and hands thoroughly. An autopsy was performed on the clerk to verify the doctor's suspicions.

This is why it is extremely important to ALWAYS carefully rinse off the tops of canned sodas or foods, and to wipe off pasta packaging, cereal boxes, and so on. Almost everything you buy in a supermarket was stored in a warehouse at one time or another, and stores themselves often have rodents. Most of us remember to wash vegetables and fruits but never think of boxes and cans.

The ugly truth is, even the most modern, upper-class, super store has rats and mice. And their warehouse most assuredly does!

Whenever you buy any canned soft drink, please make sure that you wash the top with running water and soap or, if that is not available, drink with a straw.

The investigation of soda cans by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta discovered that the tops of soda cans can be encrusted with dried rat's urine, which is so toxic it can be lethal.

Canned drinks and other foodstuffs are stored in warehouses and containers that are usually infested with rodents, and then they get transported to retail outlets without being properly cleaned.

Which Type of Water Is Best?

We all know we're supposed to drink more water, but which type of water is the best? Every weight loss plan advocates drinking more water, but does water really wash fat out of our bodies? According to Beverage Digest, bottled water is the fastest growing beverage in the U.S., with sales doubling from 1998 to 2000.

Tap water
It's the cheapest and most readily available water. Some municipal tap water is fluoridated to help protect teeth from cavities, which is viewed as a health benefit by many and a health hazard by others. In the United States, tap water is closely monitored to meet federal safety standards, and is an inexpensive source of water. Most municipal tap water is relatively low in sodium, but if you use a home water softener the sodium content can go up significantly.

Bottled water
You simply can't beat the convenience of carrying a bottle of water with you wherever you go. But believe it or not, bottled water is really no different than the stuff that flows out of your faucet. In fact, many major bottled water manufacturers start with municipal tap water! Bottled water isn't as highly regulated as municipal tap water systems, and some studies have shown that bottled water can contain more harmful bacteria than tap water. If you're looking for water that comes from a natural spring, choose bottled water labeled "spring water." In another funky labeling twist, "purified" water is simply water with all the minerals removed. This type of water isn't necessarily better for us, it just tastes a bit different -- and costs about three times more.

Mineralized water
Mineral water must contain no less than 250 parts per million of total dissolved minerals that are naturally present, not artificially added. There is little health benefit to drinking mineral water, but some people prefer the taste. If you have a well, chances are you drink mineral water right from your tap!

Sparkling water is either naturally carbonated or has carbon dioxide added. Contrary to what you'll hear, carbonation doesn't cause cellulite or harm your health in any way except perhaps causing you to burp more often. Seltzer water and club soda technically aren't sparkling water -- they're considered soft drinks and may contain added sugar or salt.

Flavored water
Flavored waters are marketed to people who dislike the taste of plain water. Many contain sugar, sugar substitutes or artificial flavors, and the calorie content can vary significantly. Read labels carefully to choose calorie-free water, or add a twist of lemon or lime to your own tap water for a healthier taste-bud buzz.

Our vote for best water

Tap water just can't be beat for safety, convenience and low cost. Fill up a water bottle at home and save money, or add your own natural flavorings to tap water if you're tired of drinking tasteless water. Steer clear of waters that contain calories, but if you prefer fizz or the taste of a specific brand of bottled water, go ahead and splurge.

3 burning questions about water -- answered!

1. Does drinking cold water increase my metabolism?
Sorry, but no! The best way to increase our metabolism is to build muscle strength.

2. Do I have to drink eight glasses of water every day?
No, but it's a good goal to shoot for. Many of us routinely confuse thirst with hunger, and eat when we should in fact be drinking. Thirst actually isn't a good signal for drinking, as we become dehydrated before we begin to feel thirsty. Drink water on a schedule and you'll find you feel better and probably eat less!

3. I can't stand the taste of water. What else can I drink?
Water is supposed to be tasteless -- that's the whole point. We've become so used to constantly having a taste in our mouth, from gum, mints, hard candies, soda and flavored beverages, that we're bored with plain old water! If you're trying to lose weight, learning to enjoy the un-taste of water is a great idea. If you simply can't stomach plain water, choose decaffeinated teas or coffees, fat-free milk or calorie-free flavored water as a substitute to meet your fluid needs.

Mom Snacks, Dad Snacks!

A new study revealed something tots figured out long ago— if you're looking for a junk food snack, ask dad instead of mom.

Research by Harris Interactive on behalf of the Grain Foods Foundation found dads were more likely to dole out cookies, chocolate, or chips at snack time, while mom was more likely to serve crackers, pretzels, fruit, or yogurt smoothies.

Registered dietician Judy Adams, also president of the Grain Foods Foundation, advises that parents aim to serve up a carb and a protein when kids ask for a between meal snack. Two simple ideas include half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or crackers and a low-fat cheese stick. Single serving microwavable popcorn bags are another kid-friendly snack, Adams says

In short: Good (and bad) habits start early. So start teaching your kids how to make wise snack choices now. And while you're at it, don't forget to be a good role model yourself!.

Typical Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs

A good deal is known about what is required to be a successful entrepreneur. An overriding factor found in most successful entrepreneurs is a tremendous need to achieve. Attitude seems to have everything to do with success in business, while factors such as intelligence, education, and personality are less significant.

The following list catalogs some of the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.
  • An overpowering need to achieve. Usually this is measured by the individual's internal ruler.
  • Follow through. Meeting commitments and not quitting define this characteristic.
  • Positive mental attitude. Exhibiting confidence and believing in one's ability help the entrepreneur succeed.
  • Objectivity. An important trait is the ability to accurately weigh and measure risks in a sphere of realism.
  • A respectful attitude toward money. Money is not sought as an end in itself, but rather as a method of keeping score or as a tool toward accomplishments.
  • Tendency to anticipate developments. Making things happen, rather than reacting to outside developments, defines the entrepreneur's methods.
  • Resourcefulness. Successful people can handle unique problems in unique ways.
  • Communication abilities. These skills cannot be overstressed. Successful people have worked at developing the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge. A sound working knowledge of both general business practices and the processes used to deliver goods and services is a must.

7 Key Qualities of a Successful Entrepreneur
by Kristine Geimure

Being an entrepreneur is about more than just starting a business or two, it is about having attitude and the drive to succeed in business. All successful Entrepreneurs have a similar way of thinking and posses several key personal qualities that make them so successful in business. Successful entrepreneurs like the ambitious Richard Branson have an inner drive to succeed and grow their business, rather than having a Harvard Business degree or technical knowledge in a particular field.
All successful entrepreneurs have the following qualities:
Inner Drive to Succeed
Entrepreneurs are driven to succeed and expand their business. They see the bigger picture and are often very ambitious. Entrepreneurs set massive goals for themselves and stay committed to achieving them regardless of the obstacles that get in the way.
Strong Belief in themselves
Successful entrepreneurs have a healthy opinion of themselves and often have a strong and assertive personality. They are focused and determined to achieve their goals and believe completely in their ability to achieve them. Their self optimism can often been seen by others as flamboyance or arrogance but entrepreneurs are just too focused to spend too much time thinking about un-constructive criticism.
Search for New Ideas and Innovation
All entrepreneurs have a passionate desire to do things better and to improve their products or service. They are constantly looking for ways to improve. They're creative, innovative and resourceful.
Openness to Change
If something is not working for them they simply change. Entrepreneurs know the importance of keeping on top of their industry and the only way to being number one is to evolve and change with the times. They're up to date with the latest technology or service techniques and are always ready to change if they see a new opportunity arise.
Competitive by Nature
Successful entrepreneurs thrive on competition. The only way to reach their goals and live up to their self imposed high standards is to compete with other successful businesses.
Highly Motivated and Energetic
Entrepreneurs are always on the move, full of energy and highly motivated. They are driven to succeed and have an abundance of self motivation. The high standards and ambition of many entrepreneurs demand that they have to be motivated!
Accepting of Constructive Criticism and Rejection
Innovative entrepreneurs are often at the forefront of their industry so they hear the words "it can't be done" quite a bit. They read just their path if the criticism is constructive and useful to their overall plan, otherwise they will simply disregard the comments as pessimism. Also, the best entrepreneurs know that rejection and obstacles are a part of any leading business and they deal with them appropriately.
True entrepreneurs are resourceful, passionate and driven to succeed and improve. They're pioneers and are comfortable fighting on the frontline The great ones are ready to be laughed at and criticized in the beginning because they can see their path ahead and are too busy working towards their dream.

Entrepreneurs’ beliefs about the qualities that made them successful (based on interviews with self-made millionaires):

1. Hard work (93%)
2. Being honest and trustworthy (85%)
3. Enjoyment of work (82%)
4. Getting along with people (82%)
5. Taking opportunities (81%)
6. Being my own boss (72%)
7. Intelligence (69%)
8. Being well disciplined and dedicated to success (68%)
9. Being physically fit and well/employing good people (67%)
10. Having a supportive partner (66%)

Traits that make for success in a large organization:

1. Vision
2. Tenacity
3. Self-belief
4. Financial awareness
5. Political awareness
6. Hard work
7. Dedication
8. Communication skills
9. Flexibility

The core talent of great managers is an instinct to coach others toward success.

Optimism and ego are the talents underpinning all great leadership.
Success, whether as a manager or a leader, does not come to those who aspire to well-roundedness, breadth, and balance. The reverse is true. Success comes most readily to those who reject balance, who instead pursue strategies that are intentionally imbalanced. This focus, this willingness to apply disproportionate pressure in a few selected areas of your working life, won't leave you brittle and narrow. Counterintuitively, this kind of lopsided focus actually increases your capacity and fuels your resilience.

Leadership and management are both critically important to the ongoing success of an organization, but no, they are not interchangeable. On the contrary, the role of the leader and the role of the manager are utterly different. The responsibilities are different. The starting points are different. The talents required to excel at each are different. And, as we'll see, the One Thing you need to know about one is not only different, but is, in fact, the exact opposite of the One Thing you need to know about the other. This doesn't mean that you cannot excel at both. You can. But it does mean that, if you want to excel at both, or if you want to choose between one or the other as your primary focus, you need to be aware of the difference.
